Our founding board members met in graduate school at Western Institute of Social Research (WISR). On our journey to become therapists we spoke often about each of our own lived experience with neurodivergence, trauma, healing, sexuality, identity, and community. We discovered a commonality that led to the mission of Rare Bird Wellness. Our goal is to support the wellbeing of neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals in California with affirming therapeutic care.
We're building the communities we wish we had found when we were younger, and we welcome you to join us.
